It is the decision maker and allows nitrous to be introduced to the intake charge safely by adjusting timing and fuel delivery rate, and no one does microprocessors better than JWT. The juice flows only if you have: 1) The nitrous microprocessor switch ON, 2) The nitrous arming switch ON, 3) Wide open throttle and, 4.) You are operating within the preprogrammed manifold pressure range. Nitrous Oxide is an oxygen accelerator. It enables fuel to burn at a more rapid rate. Most nitrous systems are wet, this is a dry system. The difference is that dry systems inject the nitrous into the intake manifold before fuel is added, rather than after. Dry advantages include equal delivery of fuel to all cylinders. The addition of faster burning fuel, which our Nitrous Kit allows, requires larger fuel injectors, Hi-Flow intake, an upgraded computer, and the use of at least 92 premium unleaded. For Non-Turbo 300ZXs, think of Nitrous Oxide as 'turbo in a bottle'. It will increase the naturally-aspirated 300ZX engine's performance to levels on par with the stock Twin Turbo model (an estimated 80 horsepower increase). For you 300ZXTT owners, this performance enhancement combats turbo lag. Nitrous oxide on the turbo models is only introduced below 10 pounds of boost pressure under wide open throttle. Used in conjunction with larger turbos, the acceleration throughout the power band is blinding. Some of your friends (or spouses) mayl no longer want to ride with you.
